Days Like Today

I LOVE days like today!
Outside it is cloudy, rainy, wet, dark, cold and wonderful. It is just really hard for me to get into the Christmas spirit when its still so hot outside in the middle of the afternoon. I am just one of those people who think you should be able to at least wear sweaters two weeks before Christmas. So today I am in heaven...it feels like Christmas time.

There is really nothing better than cuddling up with my two little cuties on the couch all wrapped up warm and toasty in a blanket. With the Christmas tree sparkling and the sound of rain falling all around us. Throw in a mug of hot chocolate and that's what I would call a perfect evening.

Ooooh I can smell the rain right now! I'm glad you guys got some cooler weather, funny how you get so excited for that when you don't get much of it. I find myself longing for bright, sunshiney, warm days. You always want what you can't have. Sigh. Merry Christmas.

I LOVE the rain, it makes me feel happy no matter what. I never really considered the view from the front door beautiful but when I saw the pic I was like wow, what an awesome picture, I am loving it. I am glad the rain got you in the spirit, I got in the spirit when it snowed here. Love you and miss you tonz. Give Macie and Ren a hug from their aunt Mich.

Oh what I would give for a day with rain and flowers. We have 4 inches of snow and more on the way and with it temps in the single digits... oh well, I guess we will be able to have a white Christmas this year and that is always nice, nothing is more beautiful than Christmas lights all coated in white powder.

Wow what a great yard! Thanks Pops! We love the rain too. Wish the Idaho kids were here too. Still a little snow would be nice.
